Help us help others in need
In 2009, we started a mission of bringing used bunker gear to the firefighters in Cozumel, Mexico. When we visited in 2008, we toured their station. Their equipment and gear is about 10 to 15 years behind our standards, and they do not have any type of budget in place to replace gear like NFPA requires. On our 2009 Cruise, we were able to collect 10 sets of bunker gear for our fellow firefighters in Mexico.
We are collecting for future cruises, and hope to present even more.
If you have any gear that is in decent shape that you no longer use, please contact us to donate it. They are in need of just about everything. There is a fee that has to be paid to customs to get this gear to them, so we also accept cash donations as well.
It does not matter if your gear is no longer accepted by NFPA. It will still be accepted happily by our brothers in Cozumel.
All you have to do is get the gear to us, and we will make sure it all gets down there.

When we put together this annual cruise back in 2006, our idea was to give other brothers and sisters in our stressful profession, a responsible but yet fun and relaxing get-a-way.
